I assure you that is not what is happening. People that have never been through this situation cannot possibly understand the endless multitudes of symptoms associated with this issue. Unless a person randomly just wakes up with every single mental and physical illness known to mankind this is an utterly stupid theory and diagnosis and I am tired of hearing it.

If you do the math on every single person experiencing these things, the sum of them are a hell of a lot larger than what statistics are showing. That is just the peope who are actually reporting this to an authority who keeps track. Experiencing smells with no external stimuli such as smells that are familiar to you that evoke emotion, ladies perfume, men’s cologne, body odors, chemical smells etc.
Sudden pressure like something has blocked your ears. Sort of feels like pressure from when water gets in the ear.
Seeing visions that are all around you and intermingling with the natural world. These are not being seen inside the head or mind space they are being seen externally.
Temporary soreness in various areas of the head when you touch it particularly the top middle area or down the center of the head.
Seeing shadows that seem to loom, grow & encompass you
